Celebrimbor
Elven-smith of Eregion. Celebrimbor was born in the early First Age in Valinor to Curufin. When the two came to Middle-Earth, Celebrimbor settled in Eregion (eventually). He was living in Eregion in the Second Age, when Sauron visited in fair form. He was noty permitted to enter by Elrond and Gil-Galad, but he did so anyway. He hen ordered Celebrimbor and his Elven smiths to forge three rings for the Elves, seven rings to the Dwarves, and nine rings for men. Of the Elven Rings, Nenya was given to Galadriel, Narya was given to Cirdan, and Vilya was given to Elrond and Gil-Galad. Of the Dwarven Rings, Durin III received one, and the other six were given to unknown barers. The Nine rings of Men were given to High Kings who later were turned to Nazgul. Later, Sauron declared War and torchered Celebrimbor into telling where the Rings were. He told all but the Elven Rings. In a great battle, Sauron marched upon the lands of Elves and Dwarves who soon surrendered after Celebrimbor was killed and his body stuck on a spear, which Sauron waved like a banner.
