Celegorm
Celegorm was the third son of Feanor. He was born in the Years of the Trees to Feanor and Nerdanel. He had two older brothers: Maedhros and Maglor; and four younger brothers: Caranthir, Curufin, Amrod, and Amras. Of the brothers, Celegorm was the the most loyal to his father's oath to retrieve his Silmarils from Morgoth. Celegorm lived in Valinor in his early life. There, he hunted with the Valar Orome, who taught him much. Celegorm was very smart and talented, so Orome gave him a hound named Huan, a mighty and vicious hunter. As the moon came into the sky for the first time, Celegorm departed Valinor for Middle-Earth. Until the Battle of Sudden Flame, Celegorm lived with Curufin in Himlad. Celegorm was defeated in the Battle of Sudden Flame, so he moved to Nargothrond to live with Finrod Felagund. He departed, and Celegorm and his brother captured Thingol's daughter Luthien, who was saved by Huan the Hound. In the Second Kinslaying in 509 of the First Age, Celegorm attacked Doriath and killed Dior, as Dior killed him.
