Curufin
Curufin was the fifth son of Feanor. He was born in the Years of the Trees to Feanor and Nerdanel. He had four older brothers: Maedhros, Maglor, Celegorm, Caranthir; and two younger brothers: Amrod, and Amras. Of the brothers, Celegorm was the the most loyal to his father's oath to retrieve his Silmarils from Morgoth, with Curufin second most loyal. Curufin lived in Valinor in his early life. As the moon came into the sky for the first time, Celegorm departed Valinor for Middle-Earth. Until the Battle of Sudden Flame, Curufin lived with Celgorm in Himlad. Curufin was defeated in the Battle of Sudden Flame, so he moved to Nargothrond to live with Finrod Felagund. He departed, and Curufin and his brother captured Thingol's daughter Luthien, who was saved by Huan the Hound. In the Second Kinslaying in 509 of the First Age, Curufin was killed.
