Gelmir
Brother of Gwindor and son of Guilin. Gelmir ruled Nargothrond with his family. He was imprisoned by Morgoth in the Battle of Sudden Flame. In 472 of the First Age, Elves of Nargothrond, Doriath, and Gondolin as well as men of the Edain, Easterling, and Druedain, accompanied by Dwarves, marched upon the forces of Morgoth. The western army waited for command from the eastern army to shoot. But Morgoth knew of this plan and sent a number beyond reckoning to destroy the eastern army. Though the Eastern army was only delayed, The western army was attacked as they watched Gelmir hands, feet, and head being sliced off by Morgoth's orcs.
