Golasgil
Golasgil was the lord of Anfalas during the War of the Ring. In March of year 3019 of the Third Age, Golasgil led an army to Minas Tirith during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. He had only gathered farmers and herdsmen to fight with poor quality weaponry. Golasgil's army was quickly overrun by the forces of Mordor. However, Golasgil's name was not mentioned in the Song of the Mounds of Mundburg, so it is likely that he survived the battle.
Names & Meanings
Golasgil likely translates as "Leaves of estella" in Sindarin.
