Harding
Knight of Rohan during the War of the Ring. Harding fought and died in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields on March 15, 3019 of the Third Age. Harding was buried near Minas Tirith and his name was remembered in the Song of the Mounds of Mundburg.
Names & Meanings
Harding is Old English for the phrase "son of boldness." It is derived from the elements heard meaning "bold" and the suffix -ing, indicating a masculine name.
