Herubrand
Knight of Rohan during the War of the Ring. Herubrand fought and died in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields on March 15, 3019 of the Third Age. Herubrand was buried near Minas Tirith and his name was remembered in the Song of the Mounds of Mundburg.

Herubrand is an Old English phrase which means "sword of fire" derived from the elements heoru meanings "sword" and brand meaning "fire."
