Hobbits
Hobbits were friendly and small beings, about three feet tall, who enjoyed peace. They lived in the Shire and in Bree, where they farmed and lived in Hobbit Holes under hills. Hobbits Were permitted to settle in the Shire by the king of Arthedain, so their leaders, Marcho and Blanco, led many families to live there. Nothing really ever changed for thousands of years. In the late Third Age, Bilbo Baggins left the Shire on an adventure. He returned with the Ring of Power. His cousin Frodo destroyed the Ring in Mordor and became the most legendary Hobbit. Frodo's companion Sam became mayor of the Shire. Nothing further is written in detail about hobbits. It was believed that they continued their own practices.
