Maedhros
Oldest son of Feanor who was extremely loyal to the Oath of Feanor: to retrieve the stolen Silmarils. Maedhros was the son of Feanor and Nerdanel. He had six younger brothers: Maglor, Celegorm, Caranthir, Curufin, Amrod, and Amras. The sons left with their father for Middle-Earth from Valinor. Feanor died and Maedhros was captured and hung by the wrists fin Thangorodrim. Luckily, Fingon saved him. Maedhros lost a hand in the rescue. In a great battle against Morgoth, Elves of all kinds united and allied with Edain, Easterlings, Druedain, and dwarves. These thousands of individuals marched against Morgoth. Maedhros led the eastern army, which was delayed by Morgoth's forces and caused confusion. These masive armies of good were perfection, but they were destroyed at Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Maedhros, after Morgoth's defeat in the War of Wrath, stole to Silmarils from the valar, who drove him to suicide.
