Vána
Minor female Vala. Vana was the sister of Yavanna and the wife of Orome. She was a beautiful Vala who was also called the Ever-young because of her beauty and association with nature. If Vana set her eyes upon a flower, it immediately bloomed. Birds sang as she walked by. Vana had a strong influence on all things beautiful. Vana lived in beautiful gardens in the Undying Lands. Her gardens were green and lush, with many beautiful flower and bird inhabitants. Vana also frequented the forest of her husband Orome.
Before the Maia Melian left Aman for Middle-Earth, she served Vana and Este and tended to their wonderful gardens.

Names & Meanings
Vána is Quenya for "beauty." It is related to the Vanyarin word Wána, also meaning "beauty."
