Aghan
Druedain of the Forest of Brethil in the First Age. Aghan was a short man who was an expert stone-carver. He could pour his own powers into his creations. He was allied with an Edain of the Folk of Haleth named Barach.
Aghan guarded Barach's home from Orc attacks. Orcs frequented the outskirts of the Forest of Brethil and slew both Edain and Druedain. But Aghan was a skilled fighter and he was able to kill most Orcs.
One day, Aghan went away on an errand. To keep his friend safe, he carves a statue out of stone and poured his powers into it. One night, Barach's home was attacked by Orcs who attempted to burn it. The stone that Aghan had carved put out the fire and killed the Orcs, though it was wounded in the process. When Aghan returned, he too was wounded from the fight, though he would have been miles away at the time.
