Anardil
Son of Earendil, Anardil was born in year 136 of the Third Age. Anardil became the sixth king of Gondor. He became king in year 324 at the death of his father. Anardil ruled until his own death in 411 and his son Ostoher inherited the throne.
Names & Meanings
Anardil means "friend of the Sun" in Quenya. It is derived from Anar meaning "Sun" and dil meaning "friend of" or "devoted to."
