Beleg
Second King of Arthedain. Beleg was born in the year 811 of the Third Age. He was the son of Amlaith of Fornost, the first King of Arthedain. Beleg became king of Arthedain in 946, after the death of his father. He ruled from Fornost in Arthedain. Beleg did not rule over the entirety of Arnor - for it was now a nation divided. There were two other regions of Arnor - Cardolan and Rhudaur - but it was through the kings of Arthedain that the line of Isildur lived on.
Beleg ruled until his death in 1029 and was succeeded by his son Mallor as king.
