Mallor
Third King of Arthedain; Mallor was born in year 895 of the Third Age. He was the son of King Beleg. Mallor ruled from 1029, the year of his father's death, to his own death in 1110. He was then succeeded as king by his son Celepharn.
Names & Meanings
The exact meaning of Mallor is not known. However, in Sindarin, the element mal means "gold" and lor could come from glor meaning "light," possibly translating Mallor as "golden light."
