Brytta
Eleventh king of Rohan. Brytta was born in the year 2752 of the Third Age. Brytta was the son of King Frealaf.
In 2798, Frealaf died and Brytta became king. Tensions still existed at the borders of Rohan and Dunland. Rohan continued to recover from its war against Dunland a generation before. Brytta always helped people in need, earning him the title Leófa, or "beloved."
Rohan also saw new troubles from the north during Brytta's reign. After the War of the Dwarves and the Orcs, many mountain Orcs and Goblins fled the Misty Mountains in search of a new home in the White Mountains, just south of Rohan. Brytta successfully defeated these Orcs, and Rohan was at peace for a time.
Brytta ruled until his death in 2842, and was succeeded by his son Walda as king.
