Cemendur
Son of King Meneldil, Cemendur was born in 3399 of the Second Age in Gondor. After his father's death in year 158 of the Third Age, Cemendur became king of Gondor. He had a son named Earendil. Cemendur died in year 238 of the Third Age and the kingship was passed down to his son.
Names & Meanings
Cemendur, also spelled Kemendur, translates as "earth servant." It is derived from cemen meaning "earth" and ndur meaning "servant."
