Girion
Lord of Dale before the catastrophe of 2770 of the Third Age. Girion led a peaceful kingdom of magnificence. The kingdom of Dale consisted of the extravagant city of Dale as well as Lake-town down the River Running. The Men of Dale made and produced many toys and jewelry of great value.
Girion himself was wealthiest of the Dalemen, and he shared his wealth with the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain. Girion wore a necklace of five hundred emeralds which he gave to the Dwarves in exchange for a fantastic silver coat of mail.
