Grór
Grandfather of Dain II Ironfoot. Gror was born in 2563 of the Third Age. He was the son of Dain I. Gror had two older brothers: Thror and Fror. Their family lived a ruled in the Grey Mountains. In 2590, Fror and Dain I were killed by a Cold-drake, a dragon of the Northern Waste. Gror led a company of Dwarves from his home in the Grey Mountains to the Iron Hills. Meanwhile, Thror settled in the Lonely Mountain. Gror had a son named Nain, who was the father of Dain Ironfoot. Gror died in 2805.
