Herion
Third ruling-Steward of Gondor. Herion was born in the year 2037 of the Third Age. He was the son of Eradan. Herion began his reign as Steward in 2116 after his father's death and ruled until his own death in 2148. Herion was succeeded by his son Belegorn as Steward.
Names & Meanings
The meaning and origins of the word Herion remain unknown. The verb herio means "to begin suddenly," and this could be the root of the word.
