Leaflock
Leaflock in the New Line film
One of the three eldest Ents by the time of the War of the Ring at the end of the Third Age, Leaflock lived in Fangorn Forest. He, Treebeard, and Skinbark were the three eldest Ents, and they were the only remnant of the first Ents to live in Middle-Earth. By the end of the Third Age, Leaflock had become extremely sleepy and treeish. He settled by himself in a meadow and fell asleep in summer, only ever awakening several times per year. Leaflock soon grew tired of waking up and took to sleeping year-round.
