Saelon
Saelon was a child and friend to Borlas living in Gondor in the early Fourth Age.
Saelon was found to be stealing an apple in Borlas' garden when he was a child, and this was how to two friends met. Borlas compared Saelon's behavior to that of orcs, a fact which made Saelon very upset.
Years later, Borlas and Saelon sat in view of Minas Tirith from its gardens, and Borlas commented on the Dark Tree. Saelon suggested that a new shadow was approaching. However, what he was suggesting remains unknown, and as far as the story goes there is no answer to this concern.
Notice: The New Shadow was meant to be a sequel to The Lord of the Rings. However, it was abandoned by Tolkien, who concluded that nothing could go wrong in Middle-Earth after the downfall of Sauron.
