Thuringwethil
Vampire who served Sauron in the First Age. Thuringwethil acted as a messenger for Sauron. Thuringwethil's exact race is obscure, but it appears that she was created by Sauron. She could change her form, so she may have been a Maia like her master.
In 465 of the First Age, Thuringwethil was caught in a conflict between Luthien Tinuviel and Sauron on the Isle of Werewolves. Thuringwethil was killed during the conflict, possibly by Luthien, but also possibly by Huan the Hound who served Luthien.
During the quest to retrieve the Silmarils from Morgoth's Iron Crown, Luthien disguised herself as Thuringwethil when entering Angband.
