Turambar
The son of Romendacil I, Turambar was born in 397 of the Third Age. Turambar became the ninth king of Gondor after his father was killed by Easterlings in year 541. Turambar managed to not only defeat the Easterlings but colonize a territory of Rhun. Turambar died in 667 and his son Atanatar I was crowned king.
Names & Meanings
Turambar translates from Quenya as "master of doom." It is derived from tur meaning "master" and ambar meaning "doom." There was also a hero of the Edain named Turin Turambar.
