Arantar
Born in year 185 of the Third Age, Arantar became the fifth king of Arnor. Arantar was the son of King Eldacar of Arnor. Arantar became king in the year 339 after the death of his father. He ruled until his own death in 435 and was succeeded by his son Tarcil as king.
Names & Meanings
The name Arantar may be Sindarin for "high king" from aran meaning "king" and tar meaning "high (of high rank)."
