Eldacar
Born in the year 87 of the Third Age, Eldacar became the fourth king of Arnor. Eldacar was the son of King Valandil. Eldacar became king in year 249 after his father's death. Eldacar ruled until his own death in year 339 of the Third Age. He was then succeeded by his son Arantar as king.
Names & Meanings
Eldacar or Eldakar translates as "Elf helmet." It is derived from Elda meaning "Elf" in Quenya and karma meaning "helm." There was also a king of Gondor named Eldacar.
