Arciryas
Man of Gondor. Arciryas was the son of King Telumehtar of Gondor, and he had an older brother who became King Narmacil II. Arciyas had a son named Calimmacil who had a son named Siriondil whose son became King Earnil II. This makes Arciryas the great-grandfather of King Earnil II. Earnil II became king after the death of King Ondoher and his sons in year 1944 of the Third Age.
Names & Meanings
Arciryas means "ship of royalty" or "ship of nobility" in Quenya from ar meaning "royal" or "noble" and ciryas meaning "ship" of "vessel."
