Telumehtar Umbardacil
Telumehtar was the twenty-eighth King of Gondor born in year 1632 of the Third Age. He was the son of King Tarondor. His father became king because the Great Plague killed King Telemnar and his entire family in 1636.
King Tarondor died in 1798 and Telumehtar was crowned King. In the first decade of his reign, Corsairs from Umbar began raiding Gondor's coasts to Anfalas in the west. Telumehtar decided to attack Umbar in 1810. Gondor was victorious and the last descendants of King Castamir were killed. Umbar was occupied by Gondor for a time. Because of this victory, Telumehtar took up the name Umbardacil, or "Umbar victor."
Telumehtar Umbardacil had two sons: Narmacil (II) and Arciryas. He died in 1850 and was succeeded as king by Narmacil (II).
