Belemir
Great-grandson of Beor; great-grandfather of Beren. Belemir was born in year 339 of the First Age. Belemir was the son of Beldir, who was the son of Belen and the grandson of Beor the Old. Belemir married Adanel, wise-lady of the Marach, and the couple had five children. Their youngest child was named Beren, who was the grandfather of the legendary Beren Erchamion.
Belemir became friendly with a wise-woman named Andreth who was also of the House of Beor. The Elf-lord Finrod of Nargothrond also visited the home of Belemir. There, Finrod had philosophical debates and discussions with Andreth. They discussed important issues such as the mortality of men and the immortality of Elves. Andreth and Finrod's famous debate of 409 called Athrabeth Finrod ah Andreth took place at the home of Belemir.
Belemir's ultimate fate is unknown.
