Bregor
Fifth Lord of the House of Beor; second Lord of Ladros. Bregor was born in year 359 of the First Age. He was the son of Boromir. Bregor had two younger sisters named Andreth and Beril. Bregor was a direct descendant of Beor the Old.
After Boromir died in 432, Bregor became Lord of the House of Beor. During his reign, the people of the House of Beor lived in Dorthonion as far north as Ladros. Bregor fathered five children: Bregil, Hirwen, Bregolas, Gilwen, and Barahir. When Bregor died in 488, he was succeeded by his eldest son Bregolas as Lord of the House of Beor and Lord of Ladros.

The meaning of the name Bregor is not known, and it is likely in the language of the House of Beor. However, the name Bregor contains the name Brego, which is Old English for "king" as seen in Brego, King of Rohan. The name Bregor may also be related to the name Bregolas, which translates from Sindarin as "fierceness."
