Elfwine the Fair
Nineteenth king of Rohan; second king of the Third Line of Rohan. Elfwine was born sometime in the early Fourth Age. Elfwine's father King Eomer married a lady of Gondor named Lothiriel, who was the daughter of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth. The royal couple had Elfwine, who was called Elfwine the Fair. Elfwine became king after his father's death in year 65 of the Fourth Age. Elfwine's date of death is not known.
Names & Meanings
The name Elfwine is Old English for "Elf-friend." It is a translated version of the Quenya name Elendil.
