Lothiriel
Wife of Eomer. Lothiriel was born in year 2999 of the Third Age. She was the daughter of Prince Imrahil. She lived in Dol Amroth during the War of the Ring. Lothiriel was younger sister of Elphir, Erchirion, and Amrothos.
After the War of the Ring, Lothiriel married Eomer in the last year of the Third Age, year 3021. The couple had a son named Elfwine, who became the nineteenth King of Rohan in the year 63 of the Fourth Age after Eomer's death. Lothiriel's date of death is not known.

The name Lothíriel might mean something like "flower-garlanded maiden." The first element, loth, is Quenya for "flower." The phrase riel means "garlanded-maiden."
