Frár
Frar was a Dwarf of Balin's company who set out to reclaim Moria in 2989 of the Third Age. In 2994, Frar was killed by Orcs along with Loni and Nali on the Bridge of Khazad-dum. Frar's death was described by Ori in the Book of Mazarbul, and this passage was later read by the Fellowship in 3019.
Names & Meanings
Frár was a Dwarf in the Old Norse poem Voluspa, his name translating as "famous."
