Fréawine
Fifth King of Rohan. Freawine was born in the year 2594 of the Third Age. He was the son of King Frea.
Freawine ruled from his father's death in 2659 to his own death in 2680.
Due to the dramatically long life of Freawine's grandfather Aldor, who lived to age 101, Freawine was not crowned king until he was 65. Freawine was 86 at the time of his death, and was succeeded by his son Goldwine as king.

The name Fréawine is Old English for "lord-friend." It can be derived from the elements fréa meaning "lord" or "king" and wine meaning "friend."
