Goldwine
Goldwine was the sixth king of Rohan. He was born in year 2619 of the Third Age. Goldwine was the son of King Freawine. Goldwine began his rule in year 2680 upon his father's death, and continued to rule until his own death in 2699. Goldwine was succeeded by his son Deor as king.

The name Goldwine is Old English for "gold-friend," coming from gold meaning "gold" and wine meaning "friend."
