Gárulf
Knight of Rohan during the War of the Ring. Garulf was a rider in the eored of Eomer. One night in February of 3019 of the Third Age, the eored of Eomer attacked a clan Uruk-hai on the borders of Fangorn Forest. Though Rohan was victorious in the skirmish, Garulf was shot off of his horse and killed. Garulf's horse Hasufel was given to Aragorn the next day.
Names & Meanings
The name Gárulf is composed of the Old English elements gar meaning "spear" and ulf meaning "wolf."
