Odo Proudfoot
Noel Appleby as Odo Proudfoot in the New Line film
Born in 2904 of the Third Age, Odo Proudfoot was the child of Linda Baggins Proudfoot and Bodo Proudfoot. Odo Proudfoot was Bilbo Baggins's first cousin through Odo's mother Linda, who was the sister of Bilbo's father Bungo. Odo had no known siblings.
Odo Proudfoot had very big, hair covered feet. Most Hobbits had hair-covered feet, but Odo Proudfoot had more than most. In 2946, Odo had a son named Olo, who in turn had a son Sancho. In 3001, Odo and his family attended Bilbo's Farewell Party. Odo smoked a large pipe full of pipe-weed. He grew angry when Bilbo referenced Odo's surname as "Proudfoots" instead of "Proudfeet." Odo died in 3005.
