Valandur
Valandur was the eighth King of Arnor. He was born in year 462 of the Third Age. Valandur was the son of King Tarondor. Valandur became king in year 602, after the death of his father. Valandur ruled until he was killed in 652 and was succeeded by his son Elendur.
Names & Meanings
The name Valandur is Quenya for "servant of the Valar." It is derived from vala, the singular for the plural "Valar," and ndur, a suffix meaning "service, to serve."
