Wídfara
Rider of Rohan during the War of the Ring. Widfara came from the Wold of Rohan. In March of 3019 of the Third Age, Widfara rode to Gondor with his people to aid in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields against the forces of Sauron.
On March 14, the Rohirrim camped on the edge of the Druadan Forest. Widfara rode ahead to scout the walls of the city. The forces of Sauron seemed busy with their massive siege, and their guard of the Rammas Echor was light. When he rode back to Theoden, Widfara believed that the tides of the battle were turning in favor of the free peoples. Widfara was proven correct the next day when Aragorn arrived on the Corsairs' ships.
