Araglas
Sixth Chieftain of the Dunedain; heir of Aragorn I. Araglas was born in year 2296 of the Third Age. He was the son of Chieftain Aragorn I.
As a young person, Araglas went to live in Rivendell to be fostered by Elrond. In 2327, Aragorn I was killed by wolves. Araglas succeeded his father as Chieftain, so he went to rule in Arnor. Araglas ruled until his death in year 2455. He was succeeded by his son Arahad I as Chieftain.

The name Araglas is Sindarin for "royal joy." It is derived from ara meaning "royal" and glass meanings "joy."
