Arahael
Second Chieftain of the Dunedain; heir to Chieftain Aranarth. Arahael was born in the year 2012 of the Third Age. He was the son of Chieftain Aranarth. Arahael was sent to Rivendell to be raised by Elrond until 2106, when Aranarth died and Arahael became Chieftain.
Arahael died in 2177 and was succeeded by his son Aranuir as Chieftain.

Names & Meanings
The word Arahael is Sindarin for "wise king." It can be derived from the elements ara meaning "king" and hael meaning "wisdom."
