Araphor
Ninth King of Arthedain; son of Arveleg I. Araphor was born in year 1391 of the Third Age.
In 1409 of the Third Age, Araphor's father was killed by the Witch-King of Angmar. Araphor's first action as king was to drive the enemy forces out of Fornost. He was aided by the Elf Cirdan in this action.
Araphor died in 1589 and was succeeded by his son Argeleb II as king.

The name Araphor means "right-handed king" in Sindarin from ara meaning "king" and phor meaning "right-handed."
