Names & Meanings
Blanco is a word meaning "white" in Spanish and "white horse" in Old English. However, Blanco's name's meaning is likely different from the aforementioned translations; Blanco's name probably meant something in the Hobbitish language which was traditionally spoken by Hobbits before they adopted Westron, the Common Speach. Blanco shared his name with Blanco, co-founder of the Shire itself, though this Blanco would have lived at least 1,000 years before Blanco Brancegirdle.
