Firiel
Daughter of King Ondoher of Gondor. Firiel was born in the year 1896 of the Third Age. She had two older brothers: Artamir and Faramir.
In year 1940, Firiel married the son of King Araphant of Arnor, Arvedui. Firiel moved to Arnor to live with Arvedui. She gave birth to a child whom they named Aranarth.
In 1944, just four years after Firiel's departure from Gondor, hostile men from Rhun known as the Wainriders attacked Gondor, and King Ondoher and both of his sons were killed in the battle. Accoridng to the laws of Numenor, Firiel should have become a ruling queen, but the laws of Gondor stated that the throne was patrilineal only. Arvedui tried to claim the throne, but he was rejected by the Council of Gondor because at that time, Gondor and Arnor were separated and the line of kings in Gondor came from Anarion, not Isildur.
It can be assumed that Firiel died in Arnor with her husband, though her fate after the fall of Arthedain is not known.
