Nori
Jed Brophy as Nori in The Hobbit movie
Dwarf of Thorin and Company of the line of Durin. Nori was a distant relative of Thorin Oakenshield. He wore a purple hood and was rather thin considering his love of food.
In 2941 of the Third Age, Nori was cohsen to accompany Thorin Oakenshield along with eleven other Dwarves, a wizard, and a Hobbit on their quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug. When the company was being attacked by Wargs and had to climb a tree, Nori told Dori that the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins had been left behind. However, Bilbo turned out to be fine.
The quest was a success and Nori survived the Battle of the Five Armies. Nori lived thereafter in the Lonely Mountain. He was alive at the time of the War of the Ring, and his date of death is not known.
