Fastred (I)
With his brother Folcred, Fastred was one of the twin sons of King Folcwine of Rohan. Fastred and his brother Folcred were born sometime before the year 2830 of the Third Age. The twins also had a younger brother named Fengel, who ultimately inherited the throne of Rohan.
In 2885, Folcwine sent his twin sons to Gondor with an army of riders to fight against an invasion of Haradrim. Fastred was slain while standing next to his twin brother at the Crossings of Poros. They were buried in Haudh in Gwanur, a tomb in Minas Tirith.
