Fengel
Fifteenth king of Rohan. Fengel was born in the year 2870 of the Third Age. He was the third son of King Folcwine. Fengel became king because his older brothers, Folcred and Fastred, were both killed in battle with the Haradrim. Fengel also had an older sister, but since the line of kings in Rohan was patrilineal, Fengel inherited the throne.
Fengel became king in 2903, after his father's death. Fengel, having been the only son of Folcwine for so long, had become somewhat spoiled. He was remembered as a selfish and greedy king who cared little for anything but his own wealth.
Fengel died in 2953 and was succeeded by his son Thengel as king.
