Lindir
Elf of Rivendell interested in Bilbo's song. Lindir was among a group of Elves who listened to Bilbo's composition Earendil the Mariner, the father of Elrond of Rivendell in the 3000s of the Third Age. Lindir asked to hear the song again, for he could not determine which parts were composed by Bilbo and which by Aragorn. This was because mortals were not easily distinguished by Elves.
Names & Meanings
The element lin means "sing," so Lindir may mean "singer."
