Willie Banks
Hobbit of Bree who was killed in a battle Bree. This skirmish consisted of the combined Men and Hobbits of Bree on one side versus the Southerners who had ridden up the Greenway to Bree on the other side. The skirmish took place in the early months of 3019 of the Third Age. Three men of Bree: Rowlie Appledore, Tom Pickthorn, and Mat Heathertoes, as well as an Underhill of Staddle were also killed during the skirmish.
Notice: Though it is unconfirmed, it is possible that Willie Banks lived on the slopes of Bree-hill, the surname Banks being a reference to the banks in hills in which Hobbits build their homes.
