Rowlie Appledore
Man of Bree-land who fought against the Southerners during the War of the Ring. In 3019 of the Third Age, the Southerners invaded Bree. Rowlie Appledore was killed, along with his fellow Bree-folk Mat Heathertoes and Tom Pickthorn; and the Hobbits Willie Banks and an Underhill of Staddle.
After the battle, the Southerners were expelled from Bree along with the traitors Bill Ferny and Harry Goatleaf who had aided them.
