Morwen
Daughter of Steward Belecthor I of Gondor. She had a brother named Orodreth.
Morwen became the grandmother of Egalmoth. When Ecthelion I had no child or heir, Egalmoth became the eighteenth Steward of Gondor.

Names & Meanings
The name Morwen is Sindarin for "dark maiden." It can be derived from môr, meaning "darkness," and wen from gwenn, meaning "maiden."
Morwen was also the name of the daughter of Baragund of the House of Beor in the First Age and the mother of Theoden in the later Third Age.
